How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy J2 Core to Remove Pattern Lock Screen and Password.

  6. Just wait for a minute your J2 Core will enter Android recovery.
  7. From this screen, you can use the Volume Up or Volume Down button to navigate the menu. And use the power button to confirm.
  8. Now highlight wipe data/factory reset using the volume down button, and confirm with the power button.

  9. On the next screen select Yes.
  10. Once you hit the power button to confirm, the hard reset process will begin.
  11. Make sure you see the wipe data complete at the bottom of the screen,
  12. This will bring back your phone to the Android Recovery main menu.

You can use this guide to help your phone from blank or frozen, app crash or unresponsive, and other minor problems. Besides that, you can also use the hard reset to unlock pattern or forgotten password and PIN. Important you know, that performing a hard reset on an Android device will erase all data stored in the phone memory. So, perform the hard reset only if absolutely necessary as it removes all data including system and app data, Google account, App settings, and downloaded apps.

  3. Keep holding the button until the Android Logo comes up on the screen.
  4. When your phone enters Android System you can navigate all menu using volume button, and use the power button to confirm.
  5. Now, highlight Wipe data/factory reset using the volume button
  6. Then, press power button to confirm.
  7. At the next screen, you will be asked to continue the hard reset or no. Therefore, highlight Yes.
  8. Just wait for the hard reset process finish. Once the process is done. you need to reboot your Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro.

    Hard Reset Guide.

    1. This guide only applied for Samsung Galaxy A8/A8 Plus (2018), but you can also apply this guide to the other Samsung Galaxy phone.
    2. To avoid all data lost, we highly recommend to backup everything before proceeding the hard reset.
    3. Make sure your battery is fully charged, or at least has 78% of battery capacity.
    4. Now, turn off your Samsung Galaxy A8 or A8+
    5. If you can't turn off the phone due forgotten PIN or password, you can follow this step.
      • How to turn off the Samsung Galaxy A8 or A8+ if you forgot the PIN or password?
        • From standby screen.
        • Press and hold the Power button + Volume Down button at the same time.
        • Release all button when your phone screen goes black.
    6. Then turn it on again by pressing and holding the following 2 buttons at the same time.
